10 Steps to Small Business Success

Do not overlook this crucial step just because you have a strong hunch or your instincts tell you that it's not necessary. Whether you are managing a start-up business or an established business, you should conduct marketing studies time and again so you can make decisions based on facts and not on guesses alone.

2. Keep spending minimal. Always find practical ways to reduce your costs even when cash flow is steady. Think about your purchases carefully to avoid spending on equipment or supplies that you don't really need. Pay your bills on time to avoid penalty fees. Do what you can to save your resources.

3. Partner with the right companies. This advice applies for all types of business partnerships. Whether you are looking for a potential supplier, vendor, investor, or third-party services, you should make sure that you are working with a trustworthy partner.
