16th Grant Winner's Update - Preparing for the Busy Holiday Season

Well not a whole lot has happened with Living the Dream Alpaca Farm in the last two weeks.  We have our web-site up live and have started to receive on-line E-commerce orders.  I have fine tuned the site and the on line store.  Most of the Alpaca Clothing that we bring to shows is featured on the web-site.  We invite you to view the site at www.livingthedreamalpacafarm.com.  With the help from Idea Café grant monies it has made it possible for us to host an e-commerce site.  We believe this is going to be a huge part of the business revenue, with Christmas right around the corner and more people doing on-line shopping than ever. 

We are all packed and loaded for the North Carolina 12 days of Christmas Show.  The show runs from November 11 through the 22^nd.  The section of the show that we are exhibiting in is called, Olde Towne.  It is set up to look like a Norman Rockwell Christmas scene.  I’m very excited about this show; my creative juices are flowing to create a beautiful Christmas store setting.  The attendance for this show is a great one so we should put up some good numbers.

We have also booked three other Christmas shows, December 4, 5 &6 in Edison, New Jersey- December 11, 12, & 13 in Syracuse NY and December 16, 17, & 18 at the VA HOSPITAL in White River Junction, Vermont.  As you can see we have a very busy holiday season.
