16th Grant Winner's Update - Preparing for the Busy Holiday Season

Well not a whole lot has happened with Living the Dream Alpaca Farm in the last two weeks.  We have our web-site up live and have started to receive on-line E-commerce orders.  I have fine tuned the site and the on line store.  Most of the Alpaca Clothing that we bring to shows is featured on the web-site.  We invite you to view the site at www.livingthedreamalpacafarm.com.  With the help from Idea Café grant monies it has made it possible for us to host an e-commerce site.  We believe this is going to be a huge part of the business revenue, with Christmas right around the corner and more people doing on-line shopping than ever.

We are all packed and loaded for the North Carolina 12 days of Christmas Show.  The show runs from November 11 through the 22nd.  The section of the show that we are exhibiting in is called, Olde Towne.  It is set up to look like a Norman Rockwell Christmas scene.  I’m very excited about this show; my creative juices are flowing to create a beautiful Christmas store setting.  The attendance for this show is a great one so we should put up some good numbers.

We have also booked three other Christmas shows, December 4, 5 &6 in Edison, New Jersey- December 11, 12, & 13 in Syracuse NY and December 16, 17, & 18 at the VA HOSPITAL in White River Junction, Vermont.  As you can see we have a very busy holiday season.
