You might have found areas that have people who will buy from you, but, if they are not a good fit for the company, then you will have to say no.

What Category Do You Fit?

The other question you need to ask is what category your business fits into best? For example, a coffee shop is in the coffee category; gardeners fit into the gardening category. It might sound simple, but it can be difficult if you are selling many types of product.

Think about what you sell and what types of services you provide. Once you can fit your company into a category, you can then start to hone in on your marketing area.

Even when your strategy starts to go in the right direction, it doesn’t mean you can leave it to do its work. You will still need to regularly review it to make sure that it has remained effective.
