In the coming days, we will be contacting Megan Dean to get her scoop on winning an Idea Cafe grant, and to arrange the awarding of the $1,000.00 cash grant.

As a rule, all Idea Cafe grant winners provide monthly reports on how their business is doing since receiving Idea Cafe's Grant. And this time we won’t make an exception. Megan Dean will pass on her business wisdom and a health dose of her entrepreneurial spirit to Idea Café regulars through monthly updates, posted on Idea Café’s blog. In the past, some other inspirational entrepreneurs have won Idea Café grant. The previous grant winners Go Green Go and WOMbeat!, are well known for their insightful reports and useful tips. Leah Larson, not only won our grant but went on to win the $100,000.00 Wells Fargo's Someday Stories contest. In one of his updates for Idea Café, Percy commented: "Winning this grant propelled me into a spiral of success and accolades."
We congratulate Megan on this win. We feel this is but the beginning of many good things to come.

If you're one of the extremely talented applicants who didn't win this grant, you'll have another chance: the ninth Idea Café’s Cash Grant will be open for applications in mid January, 2010. So check back regularly for updates. It is up to you to be the next winner!
