How did you come up with the idea for your business?
I had been searching for an outlet for my art and starting to do some freelancing, then someone suggested that I should start my own line of rubber stamps. At first I was unsure because I had no idea how to start a business but then the more I thought about it, it all started to make sense and so far I am enjoying the whole process.

What do you love most about running your own business?
I like having complete control over everything and I also like setting my own schedule and being able to create what the fans want!

What makes your business unique?
I think by having the customers choose what sketches they like and having them post what they would like to see as a rubber stamp, is something different and exciting. My goal is to create what the customer is looking for and what better way then to have them vote and choose the designs. Also I am selling my stamps in wood block, cling cushion and digital form so it appeals to all stampers.

What are some of your top business-related accomplishments, or business lessons learned?
Well I was happy to be contacted by a great crafter who wanted to start a design team for my business. It has been so great so far and what the team does is create different crafts using my rubber stamps and post them on the 2 Cute Rubber Stamps Design Team blog to share with everyone. I think it is a great way to show how the stamps can be used and get inspiration, plus we also do contests, giveaways and challenges on the Design Team blog.

Why should the Idea Cafe regulars vote for you?
I think they should vote for me because if I win this grant it will allow me to grow so much as a business including being able to attend craft fairs and reach a wider audience. I have always wanted to be in a craft show but have never known what to sell or never had enough product but now I have found my craft.
