An update from our 16th Grant Winner - Lisa Briggs

Hello from the farm, living the dream alpaca farm that is. We just completed our first round of shows where we bring our clothing made from the wool of our alpacas to meet the public. The public responded very positive to our alpaca products. We started at the Champlain Valley Fair in Essex Junction Vt. It was a 10 day show and we did very well.

Next it was a 3 day fundraiser at the V a Hospital in White River Junction VT Then we were off to the Big E for 17 days which was a spectacular show for us. Then we finished up this round of shows in Fryeburg Maine at the local fair, which was another good show. We have a couple of weeks at home which is well deserved after being on the road for 35 days. We then start our Christmas shows, North Carolina, 12 days of Christmas, and then two more Christmas shows in Edison NJ.  And Syracuse NY.

So as you can see we are very busy. The animals are doing very well and the loggers are almost finished cutting the new pastures. We made contact with Pete from Tree house Masters about building guest tree houses for people to rent and stay at the farm.

Our website is up and running and we are beginning to take orders the past 4 days. It is all so very exciting, the people love our clothing, they love our story of how we got started and are supporting a local farm at the shows and online.
