Will You Make the Right Call When it Comes to Guest Posting?

Does your business at times get the best of you?

If so, you may feel like work is all just that, yet no time to sit back and take a deep breath or two.

While you likely already hand out a number of responsibilities to your employees, there is only so much they can do in a given day. That said one of the more important responsibilities that should never be taken for granted is getting your website’s blog the necessary attention it needs.

In your efforts to do just that, will you focus entirely on doing your blog in-house or is this something that demands outsourcing?

Either way, the key is making sure your blog is a top priority on your list of things to do, not something that will get done when you get around to it.

At the end of the day, will you make the right call when it comes to guest posting?

Choosing the Best Provider

In the event you do opt to outsource your blogging needs, do you know which agency or individual is best suited to meet your needs?

There are several prerequisites you should have in place for choosing an agency or person to oversee your blog and its promotions.

These include:

  1. What they bring to the table – For starters, what will your agency of choice offer you in terms of experience, quality of product, customer service and more? With how important your blogging efforts are, you can’t select an agency that appears to be learning on the job. You want one deeply vested in delivering quality blog posts, along with then turning around and marketing those posts to the hilt. While doing a Google search of such agencies is not a bad way to start, also look to see what your competitors are doing as far as their blogging initiatives. While you should never copy them, getting some ideas off of them is perfectly fine. Lastly, you want an agency that delivers in the area of customer service. Always keep in mind that any agency you select works for you, not the other way around. It is important that your agency of choice is there for you to answer your questions and/or resolve any issues that may come about regarding your blog and the efforts to market it;
  2. Reputation for getting results – Just because an agency or individual is rather new to the guest posting world does not automatically disqualify them. That said those with years of experience in this arena tend to be the ones best suited to help you turn your blog from average or even poor into a winner. In striving for great results using guest posting, be sure that you take the time to sort out the great agencies from the so-so ones. Remember, while you can always switch agencies at some point if not fully satisfied with the results you are seeing, you do not want a revolving agency door either;
  3. Love for social media – Finally, your agency or individual of choice to oversee your guest blogging needs should not be a newcomer when it comes to social media. Keep in mind that social media is where many consumers are these days; consumers that very easily could be your next customers. Since millions of consumers are on sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, LinkedIn and more, you need to have a relevant profile there too. While your guest posting agency will likely also handle your social media initiatives, don’t be afraid to have your employees tweeting and sharing too. As part of their daily work responsibilities, give them a short amount of time on Facebook, Twitter and other relevant sites. They can share and retweet your blog posts, giving your brand more attention. While some businesses are a tad reluctant to allow employees and social media usage while on the job, others have awoken, seeing the advantages that this can bring to their businesses.

When it comes to guest posting, making the right call is one that has positive implications for your business.
