The Clock Is Ticking for the Grant Finalists to Shine on Idea Cafe

The registration deadline for the 11th Small Business Grant, sponsored by Liquid Web Inc., is now behind us. The first grant campaign for this year is going very strong. Over two thousand small business owners registered for the grant competition. We are thrilled that Idea Cafe's Small Business Grant Program continues to attract so many creative entrepreneurs who are designing their own worklife on their own terms and approaching business and life with zeal.

The selection process has started. The team at Idea Cafe is taking into consideration several factors: how viable or interesting the business idea is; how well the entrepreneur describes her plans for the future; and what she is willing to give back to the local community.

A total of 150 finalists will be selected for the voting round. We will be presenting a group of 50 finalists each month for the next three months starting on July 1st . The small business owners featured in each group will be competing for your vote in a month long competition, and will be allowed to promote their profiles as hell. Mind that the most viewed and commented finalists profiles will be featured on the home page.

The business owner who has received the most votes at the end of each month will be selected as a monthly winner. This way, at the conclusion of the grant voting period on October 1st, we will have three monthly winners who will be awarded $500.00 in advertising credits each, and will make it to the final round where our panel of judges will select the ultimate Grant winner.
