Finalist Q&A: Citi Functions

Citi Functions provides all the unique amenities for any special event. From Dj's for that surprise party to sky-diving at 30,000 feet. Take that special someone horseback riding and dinner on the beach. Have your own personal photographer. Stage a romantic carriage ride through the citi or sore through the clouds in a hot air-balloon. Breakaway from the mundane, be creative, and sweep your loved one off their feet.

How did you come up with the idea for your business, and what, or who, is your main source of motivation?
Citi Functions came up with the idea for our business to bring couples closer together. The divorce rate is to high. From there we expanded to Party planning, Disc Jockeys, and party rentals. Citi Functions has a goal to have an affordable, eligant Reception and Banquet Hall. There are none in our surrouding areas that are up to date and clean. Citi Functions motivation is the local community that just want to have a nice affordable party, party rentals for special events, or a romantic time with their signifigant other.

What is a unique feature of your business?
Citi Functions most unique feature is we set up, organize, and provide all you need for more than just dinner and a movie.
We want to get couples creative. For example Candlelite dinner for two on the beach under a canopy with your own lounge area and music. Our reception and Banquet hall will provide non profit organizations at no cost a venue for their event.

What are your thoughts on the connection between small business and the local community ?
Our thoughts on the connection between small business and the local community are that small businesses are what make a local community. Without business ideas and just going for what you want, not many communities can exist.

Why should the Idea Cafe regulars vote for you?
Voters should vote for Citi Functions if they are looking for something outside the mundane. We want to provide affordable rentals such as Margarita Machines, Moonwalks, Disc Jockeys, ect. To provide the community with a beautiful Reception and Banquet Hall. For couples to add the romance back in by, private dinners on the park, balloon rides, ect.
