Semi-finalist Q&A: Lache'

Lache' is a fashion forward clothing line that caters to the sophisticated, urban man and woman. It is a mix of cultures and enables one to capitalize on where they have come from with the world of European and Cotoure fashion.

How did you come up with the idea for your business?

I wanted to use my art in another form, so I decided that fashion design would be the best outlet. It allows me to be creative and put art on clothing.

What do you love most about running your own business?

I love being able to focus on my ideas, and not have to take orders from anyone... It allows me to be more creative in every way. It also allows me to maximize a wonderful experience for my customers.

What makes your business unique?

My business is unique because I do not believe that there is any other fashion company that affords its customers the experience of the best of both worlds: urban and high fashion couture. It allows customers to take where they come from and mix it with a more high end feel at affordable prices.

What are some of your top business-related accomplishments, or business lessons learned?

The lessons that I learned is sometimes you have to learn from your own mistakes rather than take everyone's advice. People may not have your creativity and best interest at heart, because the most important thing is the customers view of your company.

A vote should be cast on Lache' because it is a new brand that will take off tremendously with a little help. Each person who votes for my company will be a part of the movement of urban high fashion. They will be a part of an undeniable legacy. It would be a dream come true to get the help I need in order to make Lache' a world known brand.
