Team Work Makes The Dream Work

So many important things have been learned and are still to be learned when starting a new business such as Custom Flipz. Many people have good ideas and some even go as far as putting those ideas on paper but yet never take the time to actually follow through and make them a reality. What good is a dream or a goal if you are not motivated and dedicated to see it to the finish? This is what sets Custom Flipz apart from other dreamers; we follow up and follow through. We  know from experience that there will be many ups and many more let downs but having a positive attitude and a strong support team on your side is often then encouragement you need to make it to the next step to succeed.

In 2011 after winning the Idea Café small business grant Custom Flipz has completed many important task needed for a startup company such as completed a business plan, legally formed a LLC, updated our website and several other things but none of those things would be useful if we didn’t make any attempts to go after our goal which is to help low income families obtain quality affordable custom designed housing.  We believe all people deserve the same housing opportunities therefore we carter to lower income households to help them achieve a living status that they may have felt was out of reach. In order to do this we have made several attempts to find the right home for the right person but in the current real estate market things can be tricky because so many other people are looking for the same great deals you are, which have led to many disappointments but also many more lessons learned. In the world of business you cannot be afraid to take chances and go for potentially beneficial opportunities. Most of life’s failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up.

Developing important relationships with others that have similar goals as you and your business can be beneficial in more ways than one. Other people who have been in business longer  often have more experience in the dos and don’ts of certain practices including marketing, buying and selling tactics that may be useful in the future growth of your own company. As a weekly business practice Custom Flipz has morning phone meeting with other up and coming businesses to compare new findings and better ways to promote and expand our companies and by doing this we have found new techniques but encouraging advise. People often lead by example and having positive influential leaders on your team is very important.

As of this last few months (December & January) Custom Flipz has made an offer on another potentially prosperous property that will then be passed on to the most deserving family and has successfully won the bid. With all of the experiences that we have been through and the knowledge we have gained we can only believe that this venture will be a complete success and be the bright future that Custom Flipz expects to achieve.
